This is a beautiful case that fits an iphone with a skin. The holes in the case make it easy for headphones to fit through and to access the phone. Unfortunately the belt clip is worthless right out of the package and gets more bent over time (like 2-3 weeks). So if you don’t mind losing your phone every few days and going out with a flashlight to find it the next morning, then go with this product. Please avoid this.

I ordered this case as a replacement for my worn out DLO case, which was poorly made. Comparing the two side-by-side, the Blue Harbor case is much bigger inside and the iPhone moves around inside. In discussion with the company, the case has been enlarged to accommodate a skin or other iPhone cover. The case thus sticks out more on the belt and tends to catch on things. Otherwise, this is an almost identical copy of the DLO, right down to color and materials. This will be fine if you already have your iPhone in a silicone case or sleeve, and want to double wrap it. Otherwise, I’d recommend going with a more form fitting package. I did like the slick magnetic closure vs. the DLO velcro, but you should take note – this may erase the magnetic strip on credit cards put into the little pouch inside for this purpose. This appears well-made, but I may return for a form fitting product.

I’ve bought two of these in the past two months, and both have failed with the case being torn at where the clip attaches (see uploaded pic in customer images). I’ve used my Blackberry 8830 and now my 9630 for years in holsters and only ever broken one clip, so I’m not abusing my devices. I wear it on a belt. If this case catches on anything though, it takes very little to tear the material. Sitting in an airplane seat, bumping an elevator door, etc.
The design and style are very nice, I’m really disappointed that while the clip itself is very sturdy, it’s attachment to the case via the vinyl material is as thick as duct tape.

This case is falsely advertised – it is 100% synthetic/man-made materials. The case as others describe is too wide, wide enough to allow for a second skin to be on your phone and still fit within the case. Overall still a nice case, just keep it from your nose because it smells worse than your nearest oil refinery.

I’ve had the case for a few months now and feel I can finally give it a decent review. I had qualms about picking up this case as I normally opt for vertical type holsters due to always having two different phones clipped to my belt. The horizontal layout/size of the case fits just right and doesn’t bother at all.
The overall build quality is good. I’ve accidentally caught the end on doorknobs, chair armrests and various other things. Normal cases costing $20 or more would usually fall apart or rip on those snags.. Not this one! Still going as if it were brand new.
The only gripes I would have is that the belt clip is a little too high. The clip is positioned in the center of the holster, which makes it a little too easy to pull it off your belt. Also the fitting is very snug. It makes taking your phone out a bit difficult if you have a gel/silicone case on your phone. Without the case, or with the thin hard plastic cases an iPhone 3GS slides out fairly easily.
